Jamal AtifArtificial intelligence and digital infrastructures scientific advisor

Jamal Atif has been a professor at the University Paris Dauphine-PSL since 2014 and is a member of the Laboratory of Analysis and Modelling of Systems for Decision Aiding (LAMSADE - CNRS/Université Paris-Dauphine). After defending his thesis on the analysis of medical images in 2004 at the Université Paris-Sud, he joined Télécom ParisTech for a post-doctoral fellowship. In 2006, he left for French Guiana where he worked for the French National Research Institute for Sustainable Development and held a delegated post from 2008 to 2010. In September 2010, he joined the Learning and Optimization team at the Laboratory for Computer Science (LRI - CNRS/Université Paris-Sud) where he was deputy director from 2013 to 2014.

His current research focuses on different aspects of artificial intelligence and data science: automatic learning, algorithms for data flows, knowledge representation and reasoning.
