Mokrane BouzeghoubDeputy Scientific Director for Interdisciplinarity and partnerships

Mokrane Bouzeghoub has been a professor at the University of Versailles since 1992. Previously, he was a lecturer (1987) at the Pierre and Marie Curie University where he obtained his doctorate. He completed his thesis at the French National Institute for Research in Computer Science and Control (Inria) where he stayed working as a scientist until 2001. He was also co-founder of a start-up company specializing in data engineering. When the INS2I was created in 2009, he joined as Deputy Scientific Director.

In 2012, he launched and still coordinates the Mastodons challenge for the CNRS's Big Data Mission for Interdisciplinarity (MI) with a summary book on this challenge being published in 2017. His research has mainly focused on data management, data quality, query customization, referral systems and web services.
